In our confrontation with this set of issues, we refer to Svetlana Boym, who suggests "off-modern" relationships between preservation and development, advocating for designers to engage with traces of the past - past authors, builders, failed projects, and revealing the traces of non-realized compositions. Referencing the concept of pentimenti, "defined in art history as a presence of traces of previous work" Multi-Sensory Experience: Our proposal is to let the community and nature take back their space to create a place where people are gathered and connected by sharing food and culture. a culinary school serves as an attraction and culture exchange while creating job opportunities, urban living and hospitality weave together to create at the same fabric of the streets of Chinatown inside the building vertically; edible garden as landscape covers the park, crawls over the bridge, flow into the tower and climb up the sky, linking a serious of gardens to become a whole public park.
